Saigon Square is known as the "shopping paradise" of Saigon shoppers. However, this place is also a "hot spot" with infringements related to trading counterfeit goods and trademark infringed goods of famous brands.

Though many inspections have been carried out by the Market Management team, the situation of trafficking in imitated goods, goods of unknown origin, counterfeit goods... of small traders in Saigon Square has not been reduced much.

The market management force had to put Saigon Square into the area of regular inspection and control, with the hope to gradually change the perception of the household businesses in trading goods of unclear origin and counterfeit goods.
